As an Official Agent of the United States Department of State, our goal is to facilitate the process of acquiring a passport for Aransas County residents as well as any U.S. citizens who may be visiting Aransas County.

This is a walk-in facility. Passports are processed on a first come/first serve basis. Space is limited, and only one individual or family group applying for passports will be permitted in the office at a time as a COVID safety precaution.

To apply for a passport, you will need to prove U.S. citizenship and your identity. A certified copy of your birth certificate or an expired passport and your driver’s license are most commonly used. If a birth certificate will be used for proving U.S. citizenship, please bring a certified copy along with an additional copy of the birth certificate, or, as an additional certified copy. You will need one (1) passport sized photograph. Several vendors locally provide this service. Uniforms of any kind should not be worn unless you are in the active military.
